Construction Progress at 1 Fairview Road East, a Transit-Oriented Development by Edenshaw

Great to see construction steadily progressing at 1 Fairview Rd East, a 32-storey mixed-use building located at the northeast corner of Hurontario Street and Fairview Road. The development benefits from excellent access to higher-order transit, just 800m walk from the Cooksville GO Station and within walking distance of two future Hazel McCallion LRT stops, positioning it as a key transit-oriented development along the Hurontario corridor.

Sajecki Planning Inc. was retained by Edenshaw Developments to secure municipal approvals for the project, including an Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment, and Site Plan Approval. The site was redesignated from “Office” to “Residential High Density” and rezoned from “Office” to “RA5” with site-specific exceptions. The approved development includes 418 residential units and approximately 305 square metres of ground-floor retail, contributing to a more urban, mixed-use environment in this evolving part of Mississauga.
