A major milestone for affordable housing in Mississauga

The City of Mississauga Planning and Development Committee has approved an 11-storey, 96-unit 100% affordable rental building in Port Credit.

Sajecki Planning is proud to have led the planning approvals for 50 High Street East, located steps from Port Credit GO Station, local transit, and the future Hurontario LRT. As part of the Port Credit Community Node, the project supports thoughtful, transit-oriented intensification while protecting existing rental housing.

With expected rents of approximately $1,670 for one-bedroom units, $1,800 for two-bedroom units, and $1,820 for the three-bedroom units - and 10 two-bedroom units dedicated to mothers and children leaving abusive situations - this project shows how good planning can deliver meaningful community outcomes.

A great example of affordable housing in a complete, transit-rich neighbourhood.
