In 2019, Sajecki Planning Incorporated was retained by Indwell, the fastest growing developer of new supportive affordable housing in Ontario, to secure municipal approvals for a four-storey mixed-use affordable rental and social community resource centre at 425 Lakeshore Road East in Mississauga, Ontario. Approvals included relief from the zoning by-law related to parking, setbacks, landscaped buffer, streetwall length, height, and accessory uses, as well as site plan approval.

The building includes 68 supportive housing units with ground floor commercial space, now home to The Compass Food Bank and Outreach Centre, a nonprofit organization rooted in Mississauga. The synergies between the affordable housing development and food bank are significant, with 95% of tenants having already participated in The Compass programs, ranging from the food bank to financial coaching.

With affordability guaranteed at 70% or less of Average Market Rent for 30 years, targeting sustainability for people whose primary income source is the Ontario Disability Support Program, Lakeshore Lofts received more than $21 million in capital funding via government sources such as Investment in Affordable Housing (IAH) the Social Infrastructure Fund (SIF) and the Region of Peel through a forgivable loan. The building was constructed to Passive House standards resulting in deep energy efficency and low greenhouse gas emissions.
