Town of Penetanguishene Committee of the Whole adopted the OPA & ZBA for 200 Main St. & 35 Thompson Rd.
Last night, the Town of Penetanguishene Committee of the Whole moved to adopt the OPA and ZBA for 200 Main Street and 35 Thompson Road West, steps away from Downtown. This multi-phase project will introduce 423 new residential units in the form of townhouses and mid-rise buildings, offering both rental and condominium options.
In addition to housing, the development will feature a new commercial plaza and standalone retail building, providing a range of shops and services to serve the local community. The site is directly adjacent to a newly constructed multi-use trail and is within close proximity to the Trans Canada Trail - which connects to Penetanguishene’s waterfront, parks, and surrounding municipalities.
Sajecki Planning looks forward to continuing to work with the Town and Simcoe County to obtain final approvals before moving forward on the detailed design.
